Last week, Mayor Dr. Gold traveled to Sacramento to attend the League of California Cities annual City Leaders Summit to speak about the Beverly Hills Nurse Practitioner Program (NPP) and the plans to expand its services.

The reception for the installation of new Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold, M.D. began before the evening's City Council agenda was completed–and that turned out to be a good thing as the wind picked up as the night went on.

Councilmember Lili Bosse walked out of the April 4 City Council Reorganization/ Installation ceremony with too many plaques, awards and framed letters of commendation for one former mayor to carry.

Julian Gold, M.D. was sworn into his third term as mayor, riding a wave of great excitement as he marveled at the prosperous state of the city and outlined plans to prepare it for the challenges that lay ahead.
